Terms of Service

Weekly Waffles

← Back to the waffle

Effective date: October 8, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and [Organizer Name] (the "Organizer") for Weekly Waffles (the "Waffle"). When you claim a spot or donate, you agree to these terms.

1. All Donations Are Final

All donations are final. There are no refunds, for any reason. This includes if you change your mind or don't win.

2. Your Money Is a Donation

Money you send is treated as a donation to the Waffle, not payment for goods or services. Claiming a spot gives you a chance to win, but your donation does not guarantee any prize. See section 14 for where the money goes.

3. Prizes

Each spot is donate $50. Every winner gets both prizes: a Puffco Plasma Peak Pro and a Puffco Plasma Hot Knife. Every spot has the same chance of winning.

Limit 2 spots per person. When you claim a spot, you must give a contact (Cash App $tag, Venmo @handle, phone, or email). We use your name and contact to apply the limit, so a third spot under the same name or contact will be declined. The Organizer may make exceptions.

If a listed prize becomes unavailable, the Organizer may substitute a prize of similar or greater value. Prizes have no cash alternative.

4. Unfilled Spots

A draw runs only when all 20 spots are filled and every donation is confirmed (Paid ✓); there is never a draw with empty spots. If the spots aren't all filled yet, we wait until they are. Your spot stays in that waffle until its draw, and you don't need to donate again.

Prizes never roll over: each waffle's prize is drawn as soon as all 20 spots are filled.

5. When Waffles Run

Updates and announcements are posted on this site and on the Organizer's social pages.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to take part. The Waffle is open only where permitted by law and is void where prohibited. You are responsible for knowing whether you may take part where you live.

Winner ID check: the winner must show a valid ID proving they are 21 or older. If the winner is not 21+, they do not get the prize, their donation stays with that waffle (no refund), the Organizer runs the draw again, and that spot is offered for a quick sale at $50.

7. Fair Random Winner Selection

The Organizer starts the draw, but the winner is picked by the Weekly Waffles server using a cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). Every claimed spot has an equal chance. Everyone watching sees the same result.

Game vote: only Paid ✓ (confirmed) spot holders vote on which animated game runs the draw — one vote per paid spot, using the same contact they claimed with. Pending spots can't vote until the Organizer confirms the donation. The game that ran last time is locked out and can't be picked. The game with the most votes runs; ties are broken at random. If nobody votes, the server picks a random eligible game. The games are for fun and do not change the odds.

8. Monthly Bonus Draw

If your Paid ✓ spot does not win a regular waffle, that spot is automatically entered into that calendar month's Monthly Bonus Draw (America/New_York). One entry per paid losing spot — the pool is simply however many paid losing spots there were that month. No extra donation is needed.

The Organizer runs the monthly draw once per month. The winner is picked at random with equal odds per entry (same crypto-secure method as regular draws). The animated game is for fun and does not change the odds.

Prize choice: the monthly winner chooses either (a) a surprise prize worth at least $50 — the specific prize is announced when the winner is drawn, not beforehand — or (b) a skip-the-line token (see section 10).

The same 21+ ID check applies (see section 6). If the monthly winner is not 21+, they do not get the prize or token, there is no refund, and the Organizer redraws from the remaining entries for that month.

9. Free Entry (No Donation Necessary)

No donation is ever required to enter or win. Anyone 21 or older with an account can use the Free Spin once per day (America/New_York). The result is decided by the Weekly Waffles server with crypto-secure randomness; the wheel animation just shows it. Landing the Waffle Chance slice (odds: 1 in 6 per spin) enters you in that calendar month's free waffle spot draw (America/New_York). Maximum one entry per account per month; another Waffle Chance in the same month doesn't add more. Entries carry across all waffles in that month.

Once a month, at the end of the month, the Organizer draws one random free-spot winner from that month's entrants (equal odds per entrant, same crypto-secure method). The draw for a month can run once that month has ended (from the 1st of the next month, New York time), and only once per month. It only runs if at least 12 waffles were drawn that month; if fewer than 12 waffles are drawn in a month, that month's Waffle Chance free spot draw doesn't run. The winner gets a full spot marked Paid with a "Free" tag in the current waffle if a spot is open. If the board is full, the spot is reserved in the next waffle and placed first, before spots open to everyone, like a token reservation. A free spot has the same odds in the main draw as every other spot, counts toward the 20, can vote on the game, and goes into the Monthly Bonus Draw if it doesn't win. The same 21+ ID check applies (see section 6). One account per person (see section 18); duplicate accounts may be removed and their entries voided.

10. Skip-the-Line Tokens

A token is a code (like WAF-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). If you're logged in, your unused codes appear under "My tokens". Tokens are transferable and tradeable by sharing the code: whoever redeems the code first gets the spot (redeeming requires an account). Each code is single-use and is used up everywhere once redeemed. The Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or shared codes. Tokens have no cash value.

Using a token while spots are open: enter the code on the claim form. The spot is marked Paid with a "Token" tag, and no donation is needed. A full board can't take another spot, and nobody gets bumped.

First dibs on the next waffle: right after a waffle is drawn, token holders can lock a spot in the next waffle before spots open to everyone. It's first come, first served: reservations are placed in the order they're made, automatically and as Paid, when the next board opens. Up to 20 token reservations per waffle; the 2-spots-per-person limit still applies. The code is used up when you reserve. If the Organizer cancels a reservation, the code works again.

If the next waffle's token spots are full: you can optionally lock a spot in the waffle after that instead (and so on, if that one fills too). It's still first come, first served. The prize for that later waffle may not be announced yet when you lock in. It's totally optional: you can always just keep your code for later.

11. Lucky Numbers

Every spot holder (regular, Free Spot, and token) can pick an optional lucky number to identify their spot. You can pick it when you claim or redeem, or change it later with "Change my number" until the draw starts. Numbers 21–9999 show in place of your slot number. Numbers 1–20 are the board's own slot numbers, so picking one means taking that slot, which only works if it's open. Each number can be used by only one spot per waffle. If it's taken, pick another. Token holders reserving a future waffle can choose their number too, first come, first served. If you don't pick one, your spot shows its slot number. Changing your number keeps your Pending/Paid status and your game vote. A lucky number is just a label: it does not change the odds.

12. Winner Notification and Claim Window

The Organizer will contact the winner using the contact details they gave. The winner must show ID proving they are 21+ (see section 6). The winner has 14 days from notice to claim the prize. The prize is donated to the winner and shipped directly to them at the address they give the Organizer, at no extra cost. If the prize isn't claimed in time, the Organizer may hold a new draw or handle the prize at their discretion.

13. How to Donate

You can donate with Crypto (Bitcoin), Cash App, or Venmo. Donate $50 for your spot, and include your spot number in the note. If you donate with Bitcoin, you must also provide a return Bitcoin address. It is used solely for verification, so the Organizer knows who sent what and when. It is not used for refunds, and there are no refunds (see section 1). The Organizer confirms each donation manually. Your spot shows as Pending on the board until then, and switches to Paid ✓ once the Organizer confirms it. A spot isn't confirmed until the donation is received. Unpaid spots may be released.

14. Where the Money Goes

Donations are used to purchase the prize for that waffle. A portion of the profits each week (money left over after the prize is paid for) goes to nonprofit organizations. The Organizer decides the portion. If a waffle breaks even or doesn't make money, there is no nonprofit donation from that waffle, and the money goes toward the prize for that waffle.

Winners vote on the nonprofit: waffle winners vote for a nonprofit, and the nonprofit with the most votes that week gets that week's portion of the profits. Each winner gets one vote and picks from the 6–8 nonprofits featured for their waffle. If there's a tie, the Organizer picks from the tied nonprofits.

Nonprofits you can vote for (this waffle):

6–8 nonprofits are featured each waffle on a rotating basis from a larger list of established U.S. charities, so every nonprofit on the list gets featured in turn. The Organizer may add or remove nonprofits over time.

15. Organizer's Right to Cancel or Modify

The Organizer may cancel, pause, or change the Waffle or these terms at any time, including if there's fraud, a technical problem, or a legal requirement. Changes will be posted on this page.

16. Limitation of Liability

The Waffle is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, the Organizer and the receiving nonprofits are not liable for any loss or damage from taking part. This includes technical errors, payment-app problems, or lost or delayed messages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you donated.

17. Privacy of Entrant Names

Your name appears on the spot board and in the draw history, so anyone who visits this page can see it. You may use a nickname. The contact you give (Cash App, Venmo, phone, or email) is visible only to the Organizer. We use your information only to run the Waffle and will not sell it. Your phone number is private: it is used only to contact you if you win (a waffle, the Free Spot, or the Monthly Bonus). It is visible only to the Organizer, is never shown on the site or in public data, and is never shared or sold.

18. Accounts (Required to Claim)

You need a free account (username, password, and phone number) to claim a spot, vote, use the Free Spin, or redeem or reserve with a token. Your spots, lucky numbers, votes, tokens, and free spins are tied to your account. One account per person, and the 2-spots-per-person limit applies per account (and per person). The Organizer may remove duplicate or fake accounts and void their spots or entries. The Organizer may also add a spot manually for someone without an account.
